Montclair Cricket Club made the trip down to the beautiful Philadelphia Cricket Club to continue our annual series. Philadelphia won the toss and opted to field first.
Some custom rules were adopted for the game like 40 run retirement rule per batter and out if ball is hit into any buildings or tennis courts
MCC scored 188 runs in the 30 overs provided, a respectable mark during the overcast and sometimes drizzling day.
PCC started their innings strong, slowed down, but continued to score runs. They scored 192 runs with 2 overs to spare.
Afterwards, sandwiches and beer were shared between all the players.
Philadelphia now leads the series 3 to 1.
